What is KiiOn?
KiiOn is a modern, cloud-based integration platform for digital locks. Its API acts as a secure "digital bridge" between your gym's administration software and your physical doors. Instead of relying on physical key fobs or cards, the API verifies a member's eligibility in real-time (checking for active memberships or class bookings) and allows them to unlock the door using their smartphone.
Before You Begin
Before starting the digital setup, you must coordinate with KiiOn to have the hardware (the control unit) professionally installed in your door.
Contact KiiOn: Reach out to their team to order the necessary hardware.
Installation: KiiOn will coordinate with an installer to get the unit fitted to your gym's entrance.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Once your hardware is installed, follow these steps to activate the integration in your Mana Admin Panel.
1. Check Your Email
KiiOn will send you an onboarding email containing your unique API credentials. Keep this email open, as you will need the following details:

2. Activate the Integration
Log in to your Mana Admin Panel and navigate to the integration settings:
Scroll down to the System section in the side menu.
Click on Integrations.
Locate KiiOn in the list and click Activate.
3. Enter Credentials and Door Information
A configuration window will appear. Enter the details from your KiiOn email:
API-konto: Paste your account number.

Door IDs: Add the Device IDs provided. If you have multiple doors, ensure you add each one separately.
4. Name Your Doors
Give each door a clear, recognizable name (e.g., "Main Entrance," "Yoga Studio," or "24/7 Side Door"). This is the name your members will see in their app.
5. Configure Unlock Settings
Select your Unlock Settings to define when KiiOn should take control of the door. This ensures the door remains secure while remaining accessible to the right people at the right time.
How it Works: Unlock Criteria
Once setup is complete, the system automatically applies the following logic. For a member to unlock the door via the Mana site or app, they must meet at least one of these criteria:

Member Experience
Your members can now handle the door directly from the Mana site or the Mana app. The interface is clean and intuitive, showing an "Unlock" button only when they meet the criteria above.
